Personalized Felt Coasters with Kunin Felt

I love coasters, especially personalized ones.   And Kunin Felt is the perfect way to make your own personalized coasters!   Check out these Letter B coasters I made using KuninGroups gray and white chevron felt and a traditional white felt. Coasters
First, I cut eight 4 inch by 4 inch squares using my Fiskars rotary cutter, mat and ruler. cutting
Then, using the eCal2 software, I cut out the letter “B” using my Sizzix Eclips2 and cardstock.  Once my cardstock “B” was cut out, I pinned it to my white felt and then cut out four felt B’s. Letter B
I pinned the felt B’s to four of the felt squares and sewed them on. letters on
Once my letters were sewn on, I placed a second piece of felt the same size to the back and sewed it together to make it a little thicker! flip it over Hope you like my personalized felt coasters!

Expressionery.com, Laura Kelly and World Market put together this awesome blog hop to show twenty ways to wrap World Market gifts with World Market wrapping and Expressionery.com personalized self inking stamps with Laura Kelly designs!   Read on to see how I used my self-inking Expressionery.com stamp and World Market goodies provided by Laura Kelly, as well as some that I purchased myself!  Below is a picture of the goodie box that was delivered by my awesome friend Laura Kelly! items
After looking at my box of goodies, I made my way over to World Market to see what I could find to help with wrapping my gifts!   There was a pouch of bath fizzers and a cute little jar in the box.  I put the fizzers in the jar.  While I was at World Market, I found an inflatable bath pillow.  I thought this combination might make a great teachers gifts.   After a long day, she could go home and take a nice relaxing bath.  The orange tissue was included in my box, so I bought an adorable World Market gift bag to go with it.  Laura also included some pink crinkle paper that i stuck in the bottom of the bag.  Also, there were some awesome, sturdy gift tags.   Using my Expressionery.com self inking stamp, I made that my personalized gift tag. bath bag
Placing the pink crinkle paper in the bottom of my bag, I added my jar of bath fizzers and the inflatable bath pillow, inserted my tissue paper, added my personalized gift tag and it was ready to go!  I totally love the adorable World Market gift bags! Main Photo
Also included in my box was some World Market coffee, tea and chocolate!  During my trip to World Market, I purchased this cute COFFEE mug and some smaller gift bags (these came in a pack of 6).

Back To School Picture Frame

It’s time for Back To School at our house!  Everyone takes the “First Day of School” photos of their kids, so I thought I’d jazz up our first day of school photos.   I made this super easy “My first day of….” Photo Frame.  My children go to a year round school, so they are back at school this week.   My oldest is off to 3rd grade and my youngest is starting Kindergarten.   final
Materials:
Stakes (I purchased these from ACMoore in the wood department)
Krylon ColorMaster Paint+Primer (Benjamin picked the color Iris)
Adtech Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Letters & Aleene’s Tacky Line Runner

Using the color Iris from Krylon’s 2015 color palette, I spray painted my stakes.  I did two coats.

Krylon
Once my stakes were dry, I used my hot glue gun to glue my stakes together.   AdtechAndFrame
For the letters……you can use any store bought letters, cut your own by hand, or do what I did and use an electronic cutting machine.   I absolutely love my Sizzix Eclips2 and am constantly cutting letters!   I then used Aleene’s Tacky Line Runner to attach my letters to my frame. Letters
Once my letters were attached, it was time for the Kindergartener, Benjamin, to get behind the frame!

Once the school year is over, I remove the “first” and replace it with “last”.   And then, the next year, I change out the grade and replace “last” with “first” again.

Here is the one I made for my oldest son, Landon!
